We are delighted to have you here at Jinkwansa, the Garden of the Mind.
Jinkwansa is one of the four major temples in Seoul, representing the west, along with Bulamsa in the east, Sammaksa in the south, and Seunggasa in the north.
Originally a small temple called Sinhyeolsa, it was rebuilt in 1011 by King Hyeonjong of the Goryeo dynasty in honor of the great monk Jingwan, who once saved his life.
