As you walk up the small steps, you’ll arrive at the Jinkwansa Courtyard. Directly in front of you stands the main Buddha Hall, known as Daeungjeon.
Inside, you’ll see a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha in the center, flanked by Maitreya Bodhisattva and Dipankara Bodhisattva.

Jinkwansa’s Daeungjeon was rebuilt in 1965 by a Buddhist nun named Jingwan.
Before exploring the rest of the temple grounds, it is customary to bow three times to the Buddha inside the main hall.
And remember: when entering or leaving the hall, always use the side doors. The central door is reserved for nuns and monks during ceremonies.
